About the Sedona painting:
The Sedona painting is a part of the Geography series.
When I traveled to Sedona for the first time I couldn’t help but feel that I’m familiar with the land. Is it possible I have lived there in one of the past lives? Who knows. But ever since I’ve been there it keeps calling me back.
This painting is inspired by a multitude of old photographs of indigenous people, specifically Navajo women who are native to Red Rocks of Sedona.
This print comes unframed and ships in a flat package.

About the Geography series:
The Geography series is an exploration of the world’s cultures through humans. A series of faces, fictional and symbolic characters, vibrant colors that represent human-made cultural a social aspects of each place. The paintings are based on the impressions I get whether through visiting a place, reading about it, or in any other way encountering the culture.
